About Geoff Archer

Principal Lawyer Geoff Archer is an accredited specialist in criminal and traffic law. His roles have included Principal Legal Officer for the Aboriginal Legal Service in Western and Northern NSW and Senior Trial Counsel for the Aboriginal Legal Service. He was appointed to sit alongside judges, magistrates and senior politicians on the NSW Law Society Criminal Law Committee when serious changes have been mooted to the Criminal Law in NSW. He has also appeared many times as defence trial counsel in serious jury trials, including attempted murder cases. 


Geoff is passionate about providing the local community in Tamworth with legal assistance and advocacy and is proud to offer an inclusive, LGBTQIA+-friendly service. He has voluntarily presented the Traffic Offenders Program here in Tamworth. He has also appeared as a guest on Johnny Mac's Morning Show on Community Radio 88.9 FM and Prime 7 News discussing pressing criminal law issues.
